Responsibilities
- Lead design and execution of large-scale infrastructure projects including highways, bridges, and water management systems
- Utilize BIM/CAD software (Auto Civil 3D, Revit) for detailed design and analysis
- Coordinate with municipal agencies (TxDOT, Harris County) for regulatory compliance and permitting
- Manage project budgets, timelines, and resource allocation for 10+ concurrent projects
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct constructability reviews
- Implement sustainable design practices (LEED, Envision) for environmental resilience
- Perform structural analysis and geotechnical assessments using industry-standard software
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (MS preferred)
- 8+ years of progressive experience in civil design and project management
- PE license (Texas or ability to obtain within 6 months)
- Expertise in AutoCAD Civil 3D, Revit, and structural analysis software
- Proven track record on transportation or water resource projects
- Familiarity with TxDOT and Harris County engineering standards
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing cross-functional teams
- LEED AP or Envision sustainability certification a plus
