Responsibilities
- Lead design and analysis of complex transportation and water resource projects using AutoCAD Civil 3D
- Manage project lifecycles from feasibility studies through construction oversight
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on sustainable infrastructure solutions
- Ensure compliance with TxDOT, FEMA, and local municipal regulations
- Conduct site investigations and geotechnical assessments
- Develop cost estimates and construction documentation
- Mentor junior engineers and foster innovation in project delivery
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (PE license required)
- 8+ years of experience in transportation or water resources
- Proficiency in Civil 3D, Revit, and hydraulic modeling software
- Proven track record of managing $5M+ infrastructure projects
- Familiarity with BIM and construction management workflows
- Strong knowledge of local permitting processes and environmental regulations
- LEED AP certification preferred
