Responsibilities
- Design and oversee implementation of large-scale infrastructure projects including highways, bridges, and water management systems
- Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies using advanced surveying software (AutoCAD Civil 3D, Revit)
- Lead cross-functional teams of architects, environmental specialists, and contractors
- Ensure compliance with FEMA floodplain regulations and TxDOT standards
- Manage project budgets exceeding $5M with rigorous cost-control methodologies
- Develop innovative solutions for resilient infrastructure in coastal environments
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from ABET-accredited institution
- Minimum 8 years of progressive experience in infrastructure design
- PE license in Texas or ability to obtain within 6 months
- Expertise in hydrological modeling (HEC-HMS, SWMM) and geotechnical analysis
- Proven track record of managing complex municipal projects
- Familiarity with LEED and Envision sustainability frameworks
- Strong proficiency in BIM/CIM technologies
