Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end project delivery for municipal infrastructure projects including roads, bridges, and water systems
- Perform advanced structural analysis and hydraulic modeling using Auto Civil 3D and Revit
- Manage client relationships and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams (architects, environmental consultants)
- Ensure compliance with TCEQ regulations and FEMA floodplain requirements
- Develop detailed construction documents and cost estimates
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct quality reviews of technical deliverables
- Present project proposals to municipal boards and community stakeholders
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (Master's preferred)
- PE license in Texas (or ability to obtain within 6 months)
- Minimum 8 years of experience in municipal infrastructure design
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, Revit, and hydraulic modeling software
- Proven track record of managing projects >$10M
- Strong knowledge of TCEQ permitting processes
- Experience with sustainable design practices (LEED certification a plus)
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
