Responsibilities
- Lead design and execution of large-scale infrastructure projects including highways, bridges, and water systems
- Perform advanced structural analysis using industry-standard software (AutoCAD Civil 3D, Revit)
- Coordinate multidisciplinary teams of architects, environmental consultants, and contractors
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local engineering regulations and standards
- Prepare detailed project documentation including technical reports, cost estimates, and permits
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct quality control reviews
- Implement sustainable engineering practices in all project phases
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (Master's preferred)
- Minimum 8 years of progressive civil engineering experience
- PE (Professional Engineer) license in Texas
- Expertise in structural analysis, geotechnical engineering, and transportation planning
- Proficiency with BIM/CIM modeling and construction management software
- Demonstrated success managing multi-million dollar infrastructure projects
- Strong knowledge of FEMA floodplain regulations and TCEQ standards
- Excellent project management and stakeholder communication skills
