Responsibilities
- Lead design and construction oversight for large-scale infrastructure projects including highways, water treatment facilities, and commercial developments
- Perform advanced structural analysis using industry-standard software (AutoCAD Civil 3D, Revit, ETABS)
- Manage project budgets, timelines, and resource allocation while ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct quality control reviews for all deliverables
- Develop innovative solutions for geotechnical challenges and sustainable construction methodologies
- Coordinate with clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies throughout project lifecycle
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field (Master's preferred)
- Minimum 8 years of progressive experience in civil infrastructure design
- PE license in Texas or ability to obtain within 6 months
- Expertise in transportation, water resources, or structural engineering disciplines
- Proficiency in BIM/CIM modeling and construction documentation standards
- Strong project management skills with successful delivery of $5M+ projects
- Excellent communication abilities for technical presentations and stakeholder management
