Responsibilities
- Design and oversee implementation of complex civil infrastructure projects including highways, bridges, and water systems
- Lead multidisciplinary teams through project lifecycle from conception to completion
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal engineering standards
- Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies for new developments
- Manage project budgets, timelines, and resource allocation
- Mentor junior engineers and foster collaborative innovation
- Utilize BIM software for precision modeling and documentation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field (Master's preferred)
- 8+ years of progressive civil engineering experience
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required
- Expert proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, Revit, and GIS systems
- Demonstrated success in managing large-scale infrastructure projects
- Strong knowledge of TxDOT standards and permitting processes
- Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills
- Experience with sustainable design practices and LEED certification
