Responsibilities
- Lead design and construction oversight for municipal infrastructure projects including roads, bridges, and drainage systems
- Develop comprehensive engineering plans using AutoCAD Civil 3D and BIM technologies
- Coordinate with government agencies and contractors for regulatory compliance
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct quality assurance reviews
- Analyze geotechnical data to optimize foundation designs
- Prepare detailed cost estimates and project schedules
- Implement sustainable design practices for LEED certification
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (PE license required)
- 8+ years of experience in transportation or structural design
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, Revit, and MS Project
- Strong knowledge of TxDOT and FEMA regulations
- Experience with infrastructure resilience planning
- Proven project management with $5M+ budgets
- Excellent written communication for technical reports
