Responsibilities
- Lead design and engineering of large-scale infrastructure projects including highways, bridges, and water treatment facilities
- Perform complex structural analysis using industry-standard software (AutoCAD Civil 3D, Revit, SAP2000)
- Manage project budgets, timelines, and deliverables while ensuring compliance with federal/state regulations
- Conduct site investigations, geotechnical evaluations, and construction phase oversight
- Mentor junior engineers and coordinate with architects, environmental specialists, and government agencies
- Develop innovative sustainable solutions for urban development and stormwater management
- Prepare detailed technical reports, specifications, and construction documentation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (Master's preferred)
- 8+ years of progressive experience in civil infrastructure design
- PE license in Texas (or ability to obtain within 6 months)
- Expertise in transportation engineering, hydraulic modeling, and geotechnical analysis
- Proficiency with BIM/CIM technologies and construction management software
- Strong project management skills with successful delivery of $10M+ projects
- Familiarity with TxDOT, FHWA, and EPA regulations
- LEED AP certification a significant plus
