Responsibilities
- Lead design and execution of large-scale civil infrastructure projects including highways, bridges, and water treatment facilities
- Perform advanced structural analysis and hydraulic modeling using industry-standard software (AutoCAD Civil 3D, Revit, HEC-RAS)
- Manage project budgets, timelines, and resources while ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct peer reviews to maintain technical excellence
- Develop innovative solutions for sustainable infrastructure including green building techniques and stormwater management
- Coordinate with clients, contractors, and government agencies to ensure project alignment with community needs
- Prepare detailed engineering reports, specifications, and construction documents
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field (Master's preferred)
- Minimum 8 years of progressive experience in civil engineering with focus on infrastructure design
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in Texas or ability to obtain within 6 months
- Proficiency in BIM/CIM technologies and advanced engineering analysis software
- Demonstrated experience with complex permitting processes and regulatory compliance
- Strong project management skills with successful delivery of $5M+ projects
- LEED AP or equivalent sustainability certification preferred
- Excellent communication skills with ability to present technical concepts to diverse stakeholders
