Responsibilities
- Design and oversee complex infrastructure projects including highways, bridges, and drainage systems
- Lead site investigations, geotechnical analysis, and feasibility studies
- Manage project budgets, timelines, and resource allocation using Primavera P6
- Coordinate with regulatory agencies (TxDOT, FEMA, EPA) for compliance approvals
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct quality control reviews of technical deliverables
- Develop sustainable design solutions incorporating LEED and resiliency principles
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from ABET-accredited institution
- 8+ years of progressive experience in civil infrastructure design
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in Texas or ability to obtain within 6 months
- Expertise in AutoCAD Civil 3D, GIS, and hydraulic modeling software
- Proven track record leading projects exceeding $10M in value
- Strong knowledge of TxDOT standards and local municipal codes
- Certification in Sustainable Infrastructure (ENV SP) preferred
