Responsibilities
- Lead design and execution of large-scale infrastructure projects (bridges, transit systems, water treatment facilities)
- Perform advanced structural analysis using industry-standard software (AutoCAD Civil 3D, Revit)
- Coordinate with government agencies and contractors for permitting and compliance
- Develop cost estimates and project schedules using Primavera P6
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct quality assurance reviews
- Conduct site investigations and geotechnical assessments
- Prepare technical reports and construction documentation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (PE license required)
- 8+ years of experience in transportation or structural engineering
- Proficiency in BIM/CIM modeling and hydraulic analysis software
- Demonstrated project management for $50M+ infrastructure projects
- Familiarity with Chicago Building Code and IDOT regulations
- Strong leadership and stakeholder communication skills
- LEED AP certification preferred
