Responsibilities
- Lead design and execution of large-scale infrastructure projects including highways, bridges, and water treatment facilities
- Perform advanced structural analysis using industry-standard software (AutoCAD Civil 3D, Revit, SAP2000)
- Manage project budgets, timelines, and resource allocation for multi-disciplinary teams
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations (TxDOT, FEMA, AASHTO)
- Conduct site investigations, geotechnical assessments, and feasibility studies
- Mentor junior engineers and coordinate with external stakeholders (DOTs, municipalities, contractors)
- Develop sustainable design solutions incorporating green infrastructure principles
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (MS preferred)
- PE license in Texas or ability to obtain within 6 months
- Minimum 8 years of progressive experience in civil infrastructure design
- Expertise in transportation engineering and hydraulic modeling
- Proficiency with BIM/CIM technologies and construction documentation
- Demonstrated project management experience with $10M+ budgets
- Strong knowledge of geotechnical engineering and foundation systems
- LEED AP certification or equivalent sustainability credentials
