Responsibilities
- Lead design and execution of complex civil infrastructure projects including MRT stations, expressways, and waterfront developments
- Conduct site investigations, feasibility studies, and risk assessments for large-scale engineering projects
- Prepare detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and cost estimates using BIM/CAD tools
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources while ensuring compliance with Singaporean building codes (BCA) and safety standards
- Mentor junior engineers and coordinate with external stakeholders including government agencies and contractors
- Implement sustainable engineering practices to achieve Green Mark Platinum certification
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited institution (Master's preferred)
- Minimum 8 years of experience in Singapore's civil engineering sector with track record on major infrastructure projects
- Professional Engineer (PE) certification and membership in the Institution of Engineers Singapore (IES)
- Proficiency in structural analysis software (STAAD.Pro, ETABS) and BIM tools (Revit, Civil 3D)
- Demonstrated expertise in geotechnical engineering and foundation design for Singapore's soil conditions
- Strong project management skills with PMP certification or equivalent
- Fluency in English with excellent written and verbal communication abilities
