Responsibilities
- Lead design and execution of large-scale civil infrastructure projects including highways, bridges, and water treatment facilities
- Perform advanced structural analysis using industry-standard software (AutoCAD Civil 3D, SAP2000)
- Coordinate with municipal agencies for permitting and compliance with local, state, and federal regulations
- Manage project budgets, timelines, and resource allocation for multi-million dollar contracts
- Conduct site investigations, geotechnical evaluations, and feasibility studies
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct quality control reviews of technical deliverables
- Develop sustainable design solutions incorporating green infrastructure principles
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (Master's preferred) from ABET-accredited institution
- Minimum 7 years of progressive civil engineering experience with infrastructure projects
- Active Professional Engineer (PE) license in Texas
- Advanced proficiency in BIM/CIM technologies and civil engineering software
- Proven track record of managing complex transportation or water resources projects
- Strong knowledge of TxDOT and FEMA regulations
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities and client management skills
- LEED AP certification highly desirable
