Responsibilities
- Design and oversee complex infrastructure projects including highways, bridges, and water treatment facilities
- Conduct site inspections and ensure compliance with Singapore's Building Construction Authority (BCA) standards
- Lead multidisciplinary teams of engineers and contractors to project milestones
- Develop cost-effective solutions using BIM software (Revit/AutoCAD) and structural analysis tools
- Prepare detailed technical documentation including tender specifications and progress reports
- Collaborate with government agencies on regulatory approvals and land acquisition
- Mentor junior engineers through technical training and knowledge sharing sessions
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited institution
- Minimum 8 years of experience in large-scale infrastructure projects
- Professional Engineer (PE) registration or equivalent international certification
- Expertise in Singapore's building codes and construction regulations
- Proficiency in structural analysis software (e.g., STAAD.Pro, ETABS)
- Proven track record of managing projects over SGD 50 million
- Strong project management skills with PMP certification preferred
- Fluency in English with Mandarin proficiency advantageous
