Responsibilities
- Lead design and analysis of complex infrastructure projects including highways, bridges, and stormwater systems
- Oversee project teams and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations
- Develop cost-effective solutions using advanced CAD/BIM technologies (AutoCAD Civil 3D, Revit)
- Manage client relationships and stakeholder communications throughout project lifecycles
- Conduct site investigations, feasibility studies, and risk assessments
- Mentor junior engineers and foster collaborative team environments
- Prepare technical documentation, proposals, and permitting applications
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (Master's preferred)
- Minimum 8 years of progressive experience in civil engineering design
- PE license in Texas or ability to obtain within 6 months
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, GIS, and structural analysis software
- Demonstrated expertise in transportation or water resources engineering
- Strong project management skills with PMP certification preferred
- Experience leading multi-disciplinary teams and managing budgets
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
