Responsibilities
- Lead design and execution of large-scale infrastructure projects including highways, bridges, and water management systems
- Coordinate multidisciplinary teams of architects, environmental specialists, and construction managers
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations (TxDOT, FEMA, EPA)
- Develop cost-effective solutions using BIM/CAD technologies and sustainable materials
- Manage project budgets, timelines, and resource allocation with precision
- Conduct site inspections and quality control throughout project lifecycle
- Present technical reports to municipal authorities and stakeholders
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (Master's preferred)
- 8+ years of experience in municipal infrastructure projects
- PE license in Texas (or ability to obtain within 6 months)
- Expertise in AutoCAD Civil 3D, Revit, and hydraulic modeling software
- Proven track record of managing projects over $50M
- Familiarity with LEED and sustainable infrastructure practices
- Strong leadership skills with experience mentoring junior engineers
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
