Responsibilities
- Lead design and execution of large-scale infrastructure projects including highways, bridges, and stormwater systems
- Perform advanced structural analysis and hydraulic modeling using AutoCAD Civil 3D and Bentley OpenBridge
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and regulatory agencies (TxDOT, FEMA, USACE)
- Manage project budgets, timelines, and quality control processes
- Develop construction documents and specifications ensuring compliance with IBC and AASHTO standards
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct technical reviews
- Implement sustainable design practices and LEED certification protocols
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (Master's preferred)
- 8+ years of progressive civil engineering experience
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in Texas
- Expertise in transportation or water resources engineering
- Proficiency in BIM/CIM modeling and construction management software
- Demonstrated project leadership with $5M+ budgets
- Strong knowledge of local codes and permitting processes
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
