Responsibilities
- Lead design and execution of complex infrastructure projects including highways, bridges, and municipal systems
- Conduct site investigations and geotechnical assessments to ensure structural integrity
- Develop comprehensive project plans with budget oversight and timeline management
- Coordinate with regulatory agencies to ensure compliance with federal/state/local codes
- Mentor junior engineers and foster collaborative innovation within cross-functional teams
- Implement sustainable design practices using BIM and GIS technologies
- Conduct risk analysis and mitigation strategies for project challenges
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (Master's preferred)
- PE license in Texas or ability to obtain within 6 months
- 8+ years of progressive experience in civil infrastructure design
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Revit
- Strong knowledge of TxDOT and FEMA regulations
- Proven track record managing projects over $5M
- LEED AP or equivalent sustainability certification
- Experience with public-private partnership (P3) projects
