Responsibilities
- Develop and implement trauma-informed case management plans for at-risk families
- Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments and risk evaluations
- Coordinate multidisciplinary interventions with schools, courts, and healthcare providers
- Provide crisis intervention and safety planning for high-risk situations
- Mentor junior staff through clinical supervision and skills training
- Lead community outreach programs to prevent family separation
- Maintain detailed case documentation compliant with state regulations
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) with LCSW/LISW licensure
- Minimum 5 years experience in child welfare or family services
- Certification in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT)
- Expertise in crisis intervention and family systems theory
- Strong knowledge of Illinois child welfare laws and procedures
- Excellent written communication for court reports and case notes
- Bilingual proficiency in Spanish preferred
- Valid Illinois driver's license and reliable transportation
