Responsibilities
- Assess child safety risks and develop comprehensive protection plans for families
- Provide trauma-informed counseling to children and caregivers
- Collaborate with schools, courts, and community organizations
- Train social workers in crisis intervention techniques
- Advocate for policy improvements in child welfare systems
- Maintain meticulous case documentation and compliance
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) required
- 5+ years child welfare or family services experience
- LCSW or LSW licensure in Illinois
- Certification in Trauma-Focused CBT
- Experience with DCFS protocols and reporting
- Strong crisis management and de-escalation skills
- Bilingual in Spanish/English preferred
