Responsibilities
- Develop and implement trauma-informed care plans for high-risk families
- Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments and risk evaluations
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (courts, schools, healthcare providers)
- Provide crisis intervention and emergency response services
- Train and mentor junior social workers in evidence-based practices
- Analyze policy impacts and advocate for systemic improvements
- Maintain meticulous documentation and compliance with NY State regulations
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) required
- LCSW/LMSW license in New York State
- 5+ years direct child welfare experience
- Certification in Trauma-Focused CBT or TF-CBT
- Expertise in family systems theory and attachment disorders
- Demonstrated crisis management in high-stakes environments
- Advanced knowledge of NY OCFS regulations and mandates
- Proficiency in electronic case management systems (e.g., CFS/CMS)
