Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive risk assessments for child welfare cases
- Develop and implement family intervention plans
- Coordinate multidisciplinary team meetings (therapists, educators, law enforcement)
- Provide crisis intervention and trauma-informed counseling
- Maintain detailed case documentation and court reports
- Train and mentor junior social workers
- Collaborate with community partners for resource referrals
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) required
- LCSW licensure in Illinois (or ability to obtain within 90 days)
- Minimum 5 years child protection/family services experience
- Certified in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy
- Strong crisis intervention and de-escalation skills
- Experience with electronic case management systems (e.g., CWS/CMS)
- Bilingual in English/Spanish preferred
- Valid Illinois driver's license
