Responsibilities
- Manage a diverse caseload of families and youth, providing individualized support plans.
- Conduct thorough assessments to identify social, emotional, and economic needs.
- Collaborate with community partners, schools, and medical providers to ensure holistic care.
- Maintain precise, confidential documentation in compliance with state regulations and agency standards.
- Facilitate crisis intervention and conflict resolution sessions as needed.
- Advocate for client needs during interdisciplinary team meetings and court proceedings.
- Mentor junior staff and interns to foster a culture of clinical excellence.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW), Psychology, or a related human services field.
- LCSW or LSW licensure in the State of Illinois preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in social casework or family advocacy.
- Deep understanding of trauma-informed care and culturally competent practice.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in case management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and make sound judgments in crisis situations.
