Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments and develop individualized service plans tailored to the unique needs of clients.
  • Provide direct crisis intervention, counseling, and emotional support to youth and their families.
  • Advocate for clients within the healthcare, educational, and legal systems to ensure access to vital resources.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including therapists, probation officers, and school administrators.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution.
  • Valid LCSW, LMSW, or LSW license in the State of New York.
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in social services, case management, or mental health counseling.
  • Deep understanding of trauma-informed care principles and adolescent development.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to write clear reports.
