Responsibilities
- Develop and execute innovative beverage product roadmaps aligned with market trends and consumer insights
- Lead cross-functional teams including R&D chefs, mixologists, and packaging designers
- Manage pilot-scale production and quality assurance protocols for new formulations
- Conduct sensory analysis and consumer testing with target demographics
- Collaborate with procurement on sustainable sourcing of premium ingredients
- Present innovations to executive stakeholders and industry partners
- Stay current on global beverage trends through market research and trade shows
- Maintain compliance with TTB, FDA, and state alcohol regulations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Beverage Technology, or Culinary Arts (Master's preferred)
- 8+ years in beverage R&D with 3+ years in leadership roles
- Proven track record of commercializing 5+ successful beverage products
- Expertise in flavor chemistry, preservation techniques, and scaling formulations
- Proficiency in sensory evaluation methodologies and statistical analysis tools
- Certification in HACCP and Food Safety Management Systems
- Demonstrated experience managing multi-million dollar innovation budgets
- Portfolio showcasing innovative beverage projects (required for interview)
