Responsibilities
- Develop and execute seasonal menus featuring locally-sourced ingredients
- Lead kitchen operations with impeccable standards for food safety and presentation
- Mentor and develop a team of 12+ culinary professionals
- Manage inventory, costing, and vendor relationships
- Collaborate with beverage director on wine pairings
- Conduct weekly tastings and menu refinement sessions
- Ensure compliance with health department regulations
- Represent the restaurant at industry events and media functions
Qualifications
- 10+ years progressive culinary experience, including 3+ as Head Chef
- Classical training with proven modern gastronomy expertise
- Strong leadership and team development skills
- Deep knowledge of sustainable sourcing practices
- Exceptional plating and flavor composition abilities
- Proven track record in high-volume, premium dining
- ServSafe certification and advanced food safety knowledge
- Portfolio demonstrating signature culinary style
