In this role, you will bridge the gap between creative concept and technical execution, leading high-profile residential and commercial projects from initial sketches to final construction administration.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design process from concept development to construction documentation, ensuring alignment with client vision and brand identity.
- Develop innovative spatial solutions, focusing on ergonomics, sustainability, and aesthetic excellence.
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure timely and profitable delivery.
- Conduct site visits and coordinate closely with contractors, engineers, and consultants to resolve technical issues.
- Present design concepts and project progress to clients and stakeholders with clarity and confidence.
- Oversee the work of junior designers and interns, providing mentorship and technical guidance.
- Ensure all designs comply with local building codes, zoning laws, and accessibility standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture or Interior Design.
- 5+ years of progressive experience in architectural design, preferably in a high-end residential or commercial sector.
- Proficiency in industry-standard software including Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, Rhino, and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating a range of project types, including residential interiors and commercial spaces.
- Valid NCARB certification or state licensure is preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate complex design ideas.
- Strong project management skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
