Responsibilities
- Lead design development and construction documentation for high-profile residential and commercial projects
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of architectural, structural, and MEP systems
- Develop innovative design solutions that prioritize sustainability, functionality, and aesthetic impact
- Manage client relationships through all project phases, presenting design concepts and progress updates
- Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and vendors to maintain project timelines and budgets
- Mentor junior designers and conduct regular design reviews to uphold studio standards
- Participate in design competitions and research emerging architectural technologies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture with 5+ years of professional experience
- Registered Architect (NY State license) or ability to obtain within 6 months
- Expert proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Rhino, and Adobe Creative Suite
- Strong portfolio demonstrating innovative spatial solutions and technical documentation
- Proven track record of leading projects through all design phases
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills with diverse stakeholders
- Passion for sustainable design practices and building codes compliance
- Experience with NYC DOB processes and landmarked structures preferred
