Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end design development for mixed-use and luxury residential projects
- Coordinate MEP, structural, and sustainability consultants
- Present design concepts to high-profile clients and municipal boards
- Mentor junior designers through portfolio reviews and skill development
- Develop detailed construction documentation and specifications
- Conduct site analysis and feasibility studies for new developments
- Stay current with Chicago zoning codes and building regulations
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Architecture from accredited institution
- 8+ years progressive experience in commercial/residential design
- Revit proficiency with BIM management expertise
- LEED AP BD+C certification strongly preferred
- Portfolio demonstrating complex project delivery
- Illinois architectural license (or ability to obtain reciprocity)
- Proven client relationship management skills
- Experience with adaptive reuse and historic preservation
