Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end design development from concept to construction documentation
- Coordinate with structural engineers, MEP consultants, and contractors
- Develop detailed architectural drawings, renderings, and 3D visualizations
- Manage client relationships and project timelines
- Ensure compliance with NYC building codes and ADA standards
- Mentor junior designers and conduct design reviews
- Research emerging materials and sustainable design methodologies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Architecture with 5+ years of professional experience
- NY State Architect License (or ability to obtain within 6 months)
- Expert proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite
- Portfolio demonstrating luxury residential/commercial projects
- Strong understanding of NYC zoning regulations
- LEED AP BD+C certification preferred
- Exceptional spatial problem-solving and communication skills
