Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end design development from conceptual sketches to construction documentation
- Coordinate multidisciplinary teams (structural, MEP, interior designers)
- Present design solutions to high-profile clients and stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with NYC building codes and sustainable practices
- Develop detailed construction drawings and specifications
- Mentor junior designers through design reviews and workshops
- Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture (B.Arch/M.Arch)
- 8+ years of progressive experience in high-end architectural design
- NYC architectural license required
- Portfolio demonstrating luxury residential and commercial projects
- Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Rhino, and Adobe Creative Suite
- LEED AP BD+C certification preferred
- Exceptional client communication and presentation skills
- Strong understanding of NYC zoning regulations
