Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end architectural design projects from concept through construction documentation
- Develop innovative design solutions that balance aesthetic vision with technical feasibility
- Coordinate multidisciplinary teams including engineers, contractors, and interior designers
- Conduct site analysis, zoning research, and regulatory compliance reviews
- Create compelling presentations using advanced 3D modeling and rendering techniques
- Mentor junior designers while maintaining design quality and project standards
- Integrate sustainable design principles and LEED certification requirements
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Architecture from an accredited institution
- 8+ years of progressive experience in architectural design
- New York State Architect License (R.A.) required
- Expert proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Rhino, and Adobe Creative Suite
- Proven portfolio demonstrating innovative residential/commercial projects
- Strong understanding of NYC building codes and zoning regulations
- LEED AP BD+C certification preferred
- Exceptional problem-solving and client communication skills
