The Role:
You will lead design projects from concept to completion, collaborating closely with clients, engineers, and contractors to deliver exceptional built environments.
Responsibilities
- Lead Design & Concept: Lead the conceptualization and development of architectural and interior design concepts for high-end residential and commercial projects.
- Technical Execution: Create detailed architectural drawings, floor plans, elevations, and sections using AutoCAD, Revit, and SketchUp.
- Client Management: Act as the primary point of contact for clients, presenting design concepts, managing expectations, and incorporating feedback to refine designs.
- 3D Visualization: Produce high-quality renderings and walkthroughs using Adobe Creative Suite and 3D rendering software to communicate the vision effectively.
- Project Oversight: Oversee project milestones, coordinate with consultants (structural, MEP), and conduct site visits to ensure quality control and adherence to building codes.
- Sustainability: Integrate sustainable design practices and green building standards into all project phases.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture or Interior Design.
- Licensure: Professional licensure (RIBA, ARE, AIA, or equivalent) is highly preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in architecture or interior design, preferably within a top-tier firm.
- Software Proficiency: Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign).
- Portfolio: A strong, diverse portfolio demonstrating a range of design styles and technical capabilities.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present complex ideas to non-technical stakeholders.
