Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end design development from conceptual sketches to detailed construction documentation
- Coordinate with engineering consultants and contractors to ensure seamless project execution
- Develop innovative material palettes and spatial solutions that align with client brand identity
- Manage project budgets, timelines, and resource allocation across multiple high-profile projects
- Mentor junior designers through design reviews and skill-building workshops
- Conduct client presentations and maintain strong stakeholder relationships
- Stay current with emerging design technologies and sustainability certifications
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Architecture or Interior Design from an accredited institution
- 8+ years of progressive experience in luxury residential/commercial design
- Strong portfolio showcasing innovative spatial solutions and material expertise
- Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite
- LEED AP or WELL AP certification preferred
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills
- Proven ability to manage complex projects with multiple stakeholders
- Deep understanding of NYC building codes and zoning regulations
