Responsibilities
- Lead the architectural design and planning phases for high-profile commercial and residential projects.
- Develop comprehensive architectural drawings, 3D models, and presentation materials using Revit and AutoCAD.
- Collaborate closely with interior designers, structural engineers, and urban planners to ensure seamless project execution.
- Oversee project teams, providing mentorship and ensuring adherence to design standards and client expectations.
- Navigate and ensure strict compliance with New York City building codes, zoning regulations, and ADA requirements.
- Conduct site visits to monitor construction progress and resolve any architectural discrepancies on-site.
- Integrate sustainable design practices and LEED principles into all project developments.
- Manage client communications, presenting design concepts effectively to secure approvals.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture from an accredited institution.
- Minimum of 7+ years of professional architectural experience, preferably within an urban market.
- Active Architectural License in the state of New York (or ability to obtain within 3 months).
- Expert-level proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Rhino, and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Deep understanding of NYC building codes, zoning resolutions, and permitting processes.
- LEED AP certification is highly preferred.
- Exceptional portfolio demonstrating strong design capabilities across various project scales.
- Outstanding communication and project management skills, with a proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
