Responsibilities
- Lead the conceptualization, design, and documentation of complex architectural projects from inception to completion.
- Oversee project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including structural engineers, interior designers, and clients.
- Develop detailed technical drawings, construction documents, and 3D renderings using industry-standard software.
- Ensure all designs comply with local building codes, zoning laws, and sustainability standards (LEED).
- Conduct site visits and manage contractor coordination during the construction phase.
Qualifications
- Professional License (AIA) or equivalent degree (M.Arch or B.Arch).
- Minimum of 5-8 years of progressive experience in architecture, preferably in New York City.
- Expert proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating architectural design skills and technical competence.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present complex ideas to clients.
- Deep understanding of sustainable design principles and building envelope systems.
