Responsibilities
- Lead design development and construction documentation for mixed-use and institutional projects
- Coordinate MEP, structural, and sustainability consultants during all project phases
- Conduct client presentations and manage project timelines/budgets
- Perform site analysis, code reviews, and feasibility studies
- Mentor junior architects and conduct design charrettes
- Ensure compliance with ADA, IBC, and local zoning regulations
- Develop BIM models and maintain Revit standards
Qualifications
- Professional Architecture License (IL required)
- 8+ years of experience with commercial/institutional projects
- Expert proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and Adobe Creative Suite
- LEED AP BD+C certification preferred
- Strong portfolio demonstrating complex project delivery
- Experience leading design teams of 5+ professionals
- Knowledge of Chicago zoning ordinances and building codes
- Excellent communication and client management skills
