Responsibilities
- Lead the month-end and year-end close processes with precision and timeliness.
- Prepare and review complex financial statements in strict accordance with GAAP and IFRS.
- Manage and reconcile general ledger accounts, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations.
- Assist in the preparation of annual tax filings and coordinate with external auditors.
- Streamline financial workflows and implement best practices for operational efficiency.
- Provide analytical insights to the CFO and department heads to support budgeting and forecasting.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration (Master’s degree or CPA certification preferred).
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate or public accounting setting.
- Advanced proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite) and Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Strong understanding of US tax regulations, internal controls, and compliance requirements.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex financial data to non-finance stakeholders.
