Responsibilities
- Manage and reconcile general ledger accounts, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of financial data.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP standards.
- Oversee the month-end and year-end closing processes, including journal entries and variance analysis.
- Collaborate with external auditors during annual audits and tax filings.
- Streamline accounting processes and implement best practices for operational efficiency.
- Assist in the preparation of budget forecasts and financial reporting for executive leadership.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration required.
- CPA, CMA, or ACCA certification is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a corporate environment.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, v-lookups) and accounting software (SAP, NetSuite, or Oracle).
- Strong understanding of US GAAP and tax regulations.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.
