Responsibilities
- Oversee the full cycle of monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Prepare and analyze complex financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, in compliance with GAAP standards.
- Manage the month-end and year-end close procedures, ensuring all reconciliations are completed and reviewed.
- Lead and mentor junior accounting staff, providing guidance on best practices and technical accounting issues.
- Conduct internal audits and assist external auditors during the annual audit process.
- Review and approve accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions to maintain healthy cash flow.
- Identify process improvements and implement automation tools to enhance efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; Master’s degree (MBA) or CPA certification is strongly preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in corporate accounting or public accounting.
- Proven expertise in GAAP, financial reporting, and general ledger accounting.
- Proficiency with advanced accounting software (e.g., NetSuite, QuickBooks, SAP) and Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret financial data and provide actionable insights.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
