Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end monthly and annual accounting cycles, including journal entries and reconciliations.
- Prepare accurate and timely financial statements in accordance with GAAP and regulatory standards.
- Conduct internal audits and assist external auditors during year-end reviews.
- Develop and monitor complex budgets and financial forecasts to support executive decision-making.
- Lead and mentor junior accounting staff, fostering a culture of accuracy and continuous improvement.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration; CPA certification is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in accounting or financial analysis.
- Proficiency with advanced accounting software (SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite) and MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
