Responsibilities
- Lead the monthly and year-end close process, ensuring all financial statements are accurate and delivered on time.
- Prepare and analyze financial reports, including Balance Sheets, Income Statements, and Cash Flow statements.
- Reconcile general ledger accounts and resolve complex variances.
- Ensure strict compliance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and internal financial policies.
- Assist external auditors during annual audits and provide necessary documentation and support.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize financial processes and improve profitability.
- Maintain and update fixed asset registers and perform depreciation calculations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration (CPA certification is highly preferred).
- Minimum of 4-6 years of progressive experience in corporate accounting or financial reporting.
- Proficiency in accounting software (SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite) and advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP).
- Strong understanding of US GAAP and tax regulations.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
