Responsibilities
- Oversee the monthly and annual financial closing processes to ensure timely and accurate reporting.
- Prepare and analyze balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements in accordance with GAAP standards.
- Perform complex bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies with high attention to detail.
- Manage general ledger accounts, including accruals, prepaids, and fixed assets.
- Assist external auditors during annual audits and provide necessary documentation.
- Support the budgeting process by providing variance analysis and forecasting support.
- Maintain and update accounting policies and internal controls.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; Master’s degree or CPA/CMA certification preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate environment.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, QuickBooks) and advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP).
- Strong understanding of US GAAP and tax regulations.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
