Responsibilities
- Manage month-end and year-end close processes for multiple entities
- Prepare and analyze complex financial statements and variance reports
- Lead internal control initiatives and SOX compliance documentation
- Collaborate with auditors to ensure seamless external audit processes
- Develop and implement process improvements for accounting workflows
- Mentor junior accountants and provide technical guidance
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Expert knowledge of GAAP, SOX, and financial reporting standards
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and ERP systems (NetSuite preferred)
- Proven experience with multi-state tax compliance and consolidations
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
