Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements with variance reporting
- Manage month-end and year-end closing processes including journal entries and reconciliations
- Lead audits and ensure SOX compliance across all financial systems
- Develop and maintain internal controls for financial processes
- Collaborate with tax department on quarterly tax filings and planning
- Mentor junior accountants and improve department workflows
- Present financial insights to executive leadership and key stakeholders
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years in public accounting or corporate finance
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, NetSuite, and Excel
- Demonstrated experience with GAAP and SEC reporting
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities
- Experience leading cross-functional projects
- Proven track record of process improvement
