Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes to ensure timely and accurate recording.
- Manage general ledger functions and assist with month-end and year-end close procedures.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations.
- Conduct internal audits and variance analysis to identify financial risks and opportunities.
- Collaborate with the finance team to develop budgets and forecasts.
- Prepare and file corporate tax returns and supporting documentation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Professional certification (CPA, CMA, or CFA) is strongly desired.
- 5+ years of progressive experience in accounting or finance.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or SAP) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of financial reporting standards and regulatory compliance.
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
