Responsibilities
- Oversee month-end closing processes including journal entries and reconciliations
- Prepare and analyze financial statements ensuring GAAP compliance
- Lead audit coordination with external stakeholders
- Develop and implement internal controls to mitigate financial risks
- Manage accounts payable/receivable processes and cash flow forecasting
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budgeting and forecasting initiatives
- Mentor junior accounting staff and process improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Expertise in GAAP, SOX compliance, and financial reporting standards
- Advanced proficiency in ERP systems (SAP/Oracle) and Excel
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication abilities for stakeholder interactions
- Proven track record in process optimization and cost control
- Experience managing audit processes and regulatory filings
