Responsibilities
- Oversee the full cycle of daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger reconciliation.
- Prepare and analyze complex monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP and internal policies.
- Lead the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and timely completion.
- Conduct variance analysis on budgets and forecasts to provide actionable insights to management.
- Assist in external audits and internal controls reviews to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
- Maintain accurate fixed asset registers and manage intercompany accounting transactions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration required; Master’s degree (MBA) or CPA certification is strongly preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in accounting, preferably within a public accounting firm or corporate finance environment.
- Extensive knowledge of GAAP, IFRS, and generally accepted accounting principles.
- Proficiency in advanced Microsoft Excel functions and experience with ERP systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP, NetSuite) is required.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and present it clearly to stakeholders.
